Introduction

AULEA Foundation is a non-governmental organisation for public utility established in 2005. Its main activities have originally been producing and presenting stageworks, organising workshops and festivals. The scope of activities –due to interdisciplinary artworks - has broadened during the almost 15 years of our existence, nowadays including music, film, and other visual arts, theatre in education and audience building as well.

Since 2012 Aulea Foundation has been operating in close cooperation with Art Quarter Budapest, an international artist-in-residence centre that receives artists from all around the world working in the field of music, circus, literature, theatre, dance, film and other visual arts. Besides offering our residency programme we present fresh works of different artforms (performances, films, exhibitions) within Hungary and abroad.
